snow report

over a foot (I didn't actually measure, but probably 14-16") of fluffy stuff out there and still coming. Fairly easy to shovel though, did the barn apron even with a really stiff neck. I have no idea where the stiff came from, and I'd be happy if it went back sooner rather than later. No School was a good call here.

another snow report

just went out to shovel some. opened the big barn door and found snow up to my knee - 20". it's not really that deep on the level, more like 14". Also found out that my stiff neck is very unhappy about shoveling this slightly heavier snow. The temperature has been hovering around freezing all day, and the stuff that was light and fluffy earlier is now somewhat less so. The NWS still has a heavy snow warning in effect until 7pm, but it looks to have largely stopped here. But the clouds have by no means moved on, so the sky could produce more.
