If heath insurers actually managed to say what they meant on their literature......   If agents were not so stuck in their "this is the way we do things" rut....

I am not going to even begin making a political statement. I don't have enough FACTS. It seems that there may to actually be any FACTS anyway, at least not that anyone is willing to admit to.

So it turns out that option 3 is not really an option. The agent really wants to sell me multiple plans.

I called back the agent I use for my auto and farm insurance. He had a couple of other opinions.

Since the current coverage is paid through the end of June anyway, it's back to the drawing board.

I begin to understand my husband's stance of doing nothing when none of the options are appealing. In my case, however, I am continuing to look for more options. Maybe i will find something acceptable.

whatever it is has to be better value that what we are currently doing. And that includes valuing my time spent doing paperwork.

I am firmly of the opinion that you don't really know about this stuff until you actually use it and find out how THEY interpret all the language and conditions!
