Wow that totally sucks. Looks like a welding project is in order.
Earlier in the summer ( when the grass was thick thick thick)I learned about the slip clutch; I was working for a friend so I managed not to break his shaft at the time, and I was glad to learn all about the working slip clutch on his mower.
