That's the wrapping, actually. There is a rubber tube going from the inside of the bull to the outside of the wrap, a catheter, if you will. His penis is up there somewhere, but the surrounding tissue was turned inside-out. The wrap is an effort not just to keep it clean but to force out some of the edema. The area above the wrap is more filled than yesterday, and when the vet ever gets here tonight, I'm sure he'll have a few things to say. The vet that came down yesterday is relatively fresh out of school and had never seen this before, only been told what to do by 'the book' and consulting with her boss, the vet I've used for 15 years now.
