Hot, but my house is cool

Outside: 91F (35C)
Inside: 78F (31C)
No A/C. No problem.

oh to be near a bed for napping right now, that would be contentment.
I'm really afraid I will fall asleep at my appt tonight.

I just have this desire to curl up and nap.

You're lucky. Our house is pretty unpleasant except for the bits with A/C. Of course having the big west-facing windows upstairs (in the bedroom of course!) and down (kitchen, rats) doesn't help. Fans help some, though.

also same here. i button up, and it's fine.

in the summer, i have three trees to block the sun. yar. no radiant heat on walls. JUST enough light for most plants, but i have to have a plant light for some thing. the porch is not quite bright enough also, as a result.

in the winter, the trees don't block, and i get all the sun - my heating bill last winter as absurdly low. $100? for the whole heating year. hhahahahahah. then again, i pay more than that for "standby" which suck. i could have it turned off instead, but the fee for that is oddly about the same as paying it ;P (natural gas line i can't control or get at)

someday? i'll have a house, and a "whole house fan", and other evile moetheds.
