This particular breed is basically a food converter. I'm feeding them Green Mountain Organics chick starter then grower crumble. But even on conventional feed they grow this fast. The downside is high infant mortality and inability to reproduce naturally. All of these birds were conceived via AI. This is a prime example of how 'modern' agriculture has been doing trait-breeding to achieve a tool for converting corn into meat.
