I just took one of my riding boots to Alton Place Shoe Repair, on the corner of Harvard St and Alton Place in Brookline, MA. In 5 minutes, while I waited, the nice Armenian gentleman did the stitching required and then didn't charge me anything. I've taken things to him before (Alice's riding boots and James backpack for new zippers) and all the work has been done well, inexpensively, and on time. So: Boot and shoe repairs as well as luggage and coat zippers.
