utilities depend on who's living in it. I think my dad used under 1000 gal of oil in the past 12 months, and is running about $100/month on the electric. That's without the pool or hot tub (which are both out of commission currently and need significant $$ to repair) I've seen the place use 3000 gal of oil in a year, or more when stupid people turn the heat up to 80F and leave the windows open. I've seen the electric bill go to $400 too, with everything on, an electric dryer, and people who didn't turn the lights out ever. Propane for the stove and gas dryer runs to $250-300/year.
