Despite it being -6F outside this morning, inside it's a balmy 65F, just what I asked it to be. The wood-fired boiler gave us 6 hours of burn time on a full firebox even at this level of cold. For this, we thank our insulation, and the 2' of snow insulating the foundation and sills. Pre-insulation, we'd only get 4 hours at this temperature.
