LJ weirdness/network weirdness

So I went to post to one of my filters, and it didn't work. I got an error message that said something to the effect that the server sent to data. I was able to make the post from old mac (after retyping my entry, which was lost in the fail). I seem to be able to make public posts just fine, just not locked ones. I wonder if this is a similar problem to what is going on with loggin in to my bank.
