my horseradish looks about like that too - they seem to really enjoy their secret home. now it's a matter of the mint patch battling with them for supremacy of the grasslands they are planted in.

May I buy a chunk of the horseradish root for next spring's Seder plate? It would just be neat to have it grown by a friend.
