I put on SPF45 no-ad before I got on the tractor. in 2.25 hrs the previously white legs were like a lobster. WTF? The places already brown are fine.

SPF is a measure of how much longer *you* can stay in the sun without roasting, not an absolute number. because of the time of year i would say 11am-2pm means "halve the SPF, then do the calculation of how long you can stay out.

Might just be that that brand is lame and/or overstating its benefits, as well.
