wet laundry

It is very disheartening to be in the process of hanging wet laundry out on the clothsline when it actually starts to rain.

DOH! Hate it when that happens. Or when the wind decides to make a kite out of your blanket ...

Sympathies. I guess it's akin to taking laundry out of the washer, and watching something white and wet drop into / onto a dried pile of dirty dust (or some equally dirty area, thus making you have to rewash the item).

Amen. Last tme that happened to me and it was well over 30 little diapers I was tempted to just go cut the ends of the clothesline and take the entire thing inside with all the diapers still pinned on to it! Instead I actually left it outside, prayed that it would stop raining soon, and waited for the sun to dry the damned things 4 hours later.
