so what do I do with....

20 year-old dixie cups?

(look, really, I can see saving the old glass, I can see keeping canning jars, baking pans, and storage containers, and a pressure cooker that needs new seals, but dixie cups???)

(1) Find a female friend.
(2) Tape dixie cups all over yourself and your friend.
(3) Go to a costume party dressed as "The Dixie Chicks"

or

(1) Determine if they still hold liquid
(2) If so, make jello shots for a party at Arisia.

or

(1) Use them as kindling?

They're waxed paper, right? Keep by stove/fireplace for lighters?

[identity profile] goddessfarmer.livejournal.com 2009-10-30 04:12 pm (UTC)(link)
yup. Waxed paper and they still hold liquid. clearly we have to have a party.

Clearly. :) And... aha, I wonder if I've been remiss in too efficiently planning my own party supply purchases.

Bring them to our Chocolate Party a week from Saturday?

Ohhh Good idea!

I would say turn them into fire starters.
But if they are still clean and can be used as cups, why not. Paper cups are less likely to spread the flu virus as they are usually single person/single use and throw away.

Set them all over the floor of someone's dorm room, staple them together, then fill them with water.

Oh, wait, we're 20 years too late for that...
