inventory

17 red hens, 3 white hens, 2 dark ones, and one golden with feathered feet. 23 hens total. They've been laying about a dozen eggs a day (that I can find), and given that the youngest hen is still at least two years old (I think, there may be one in it's first year), they're not doing poorly.

one economy sized dog
one Dexter steer who is very small for his age
3 cats at home
3 cats up @ Kinney Hill
2 horses @ KH and 1 out on lease.

And 3 humans.

That's a lot of kibble.

And oh yes, I did mail the tax return today.

Thanks. They are the youngest. The rest are some combination of 2 years old and 3 yrs old, with the brown/black one being 4. Marshmallow is doing very well, she hangs out with the white giants, but hasn't figured out yet that she doesn't need to run away from Pedro.

Its too bad the tax man won't let us claim the furry and feathered as dependents ... 24 birds, 16 rabbits, 1 cat ...

better not call your little farm a business, they might want you to pay for the privilege of having them.
