Casey cow is off her feed, but other than that, not too sick.  No temperature, and while she didn't want grain, she took her med-infused applesauce and an apple with great enthusiasim. I will repeat that tomorrow morning and evening, and hope that she decides to eat again soon.
Ghost cat is another story.  I offered him canned tuna today and he would not touch it.  He did purr for me, but only a little while I was holding/stroking him.  I got to watch the vet give him a sub-cutaneous hydration.  He is too weak to not cooperate.  I spent about 1/2 hour holding him.  I am sad.

My cat died of kidney failure. I was probably about 12 when it happened. I still cry when I think about him.
