No Turkeys

The short form - Of 24 turkeys eggs only 6 hatched - then those got killed by a dog (not mine).

Someone or some thing is trying to tell me something:

1) lost a horse in March
2) all little pigs sold except the 'broken' ones
3) momma pig still not entirely well and to be turned into sausage in the fall because it's unfair to breed her again.
4) lots of baby chicks eaten by rats
5) no haying weather so far, hay going to seed, may not get any this season and have to buy it.
6) Turkey project failed this season
7) trying to close horse boarding operation, or at least get out of the 'business' myself
8) and if those weren't enough of an emotional rollercoaster, there's the health/relationship stuff that I'm just not going into here.

Maybe I need to go hide my head in the sand again, like I've done very successfully for the past 15 years.
