Confessions of a pagan farmer

Put on my warm winter riding pants, which were overkill for the above-freezing temperatures, and took the ponies out for some exercize.  I rode Trump and lead Minnie.  Minnie has not forgotten her lessons of oh so long ago when she was 1-3 and I ponied her out with my awesome Paleface for exercise.  She tried to keep her nose right at my knee, but most of the time the trails were too narrow and she had to go behind Trump.  She did not even think about going the wrong way around any trees, and was very cooperative when we tried to trot out in the field.  Trump, on the other hand, really thinks I should use both hands to steer, and tried to trot into the low hanging branches at the side of the field.  So we had a lot of starts and stops.
Being out in the new and still falling snow was really fun and beautiful.
