Pedro Update

Pedro is more alert today, however he is *still* not eating and barely drinking. I am a very worried doggie mom.  Aside from that, the incision is not showing any signs of infection, which is a good thing. I've tried putting kibble in his mouth, and he'll eat a small handful, then spit out any more I put in.  He's still got a strong jaw and big teeth, as I have found trying to open his mouth to get the food in. frustrating.

Pedro ate 1/2 can of wet food.  I bought that special, we've never given him wet food before (except table scraps), but I thought that Salmon (the first ingredient) might be enticing.  I still had to force the first bit into his mouth, after that he was licking small bits off my hand.  But not out of his dish.  Maybe he'll eat the rest later....
