No news is Good News
Jan. 31st, 2007 07:23 pmFrom here anyway.
Yesterday started out with a flat tire, hence no exercise log, as that is what got booted for the tire fix. BUT - this made me early (I love my mechanic) for helping
taureanbabe move. We stuffed the truck full, and got it unloaded with enough time to do another run but by then we were very tired and on her assurances that she did have help the next day, went to lunch. All in all, a success. Congratulations to L for being all packed and organized when I showed up to make the move easy.
My next stop of the day was some psychological testing (pen and paper type of inventories) at my shrink's office in Brookline. Upon completion of that, I had wicked good T fu - I was standing at the Green C line platform one block inbound from Coolidge Corner and a trolly came right away and then turned into an express to kenmore. I got off at Park to change to the red line, walked down the stairs and right onto a waiting train! Whoo hoo! So Coolidge Corner to Davis Sq in 30 minutes flat. An OH OH it was SO Good to see everyone at the Diesel.
After dinner with
feste_sylvain, I T'd back to where I'd left my truck and spent a delightful night in conversation and cuddling with a wonderful someone who may disclose himself if he wants to. The conversation, I must say, was better than some sex I've had, and the cuddling was supportive and ego-building, which I need.
Today, after sleeping in, was my usual shrink appointment, followed by traffic hell getting home again. But home I did get.
One of the really good things to come out of these two days is that I managed to eat reasonable quantities of the Right Food on both days, and I don't have a sugar weirdness headache. All because I'm being productive and happy.
