party reminder
Jan. 9th, 2009 04:25 pmI think the winds will be calm enough to burn the brush pile tomorrow, so if you want to play with big fire, I'll torch off at noon, with the big flames expected between 1 and 2pm. In the event of burning, I will need help in the kitchen, volunteers are very welcome.
I have checked the beef brisket, and I think dinner tomorrow night will be corned beef. There isn't a great quantity of it, so if you want some, come early. The time it will be ready is totally dependent on how much help I have tending fire and other cooking, so no, I have no idea when it will be declared food. There is always the ubiquitous hamburger, spaghetti and tomato sauce.
If you like roasting marshmallows or making s'mores, bring your stuff. Likewise if you'd like to spin fire, although it is expected to be very cold outside. Firespinning in contingent upon there being enough people rated for fire-marshal. I can not be in all places at once, or even two, and the bonfire will require a keeper.
