come pick my cherries

1. I'm not supposed to be having much sun exposure right now
2. I'm leaving for baitcon early tomorrow morning and have to pack

but the cherry tree is full of ripe cherries, and the birds will get them before I get back!

I feel pretty much fine today. Except for not being hungry. eh. I can live with this.

well that was disappointing

I met chocorua  at the Tap in Haverhill for dinner. Usually they are good. Tonight, not so much. The food took a bit long to come out, and then she came out with my side salad, and J and A's entree's, saying she'd be "right back" with mine. hm.. my take on 'right back' doesn't really include 'when everyone else at the table is done eating'.  And when it did come out, it turned out to have peppers on it. I didn't really expect peppers in baked scallops with seafood stuffing. I am allergic to peppers. In most instances, I would eat around them, but if I'd expected a dish to have them, I'd have asked to leave them off. In this case, since I didn't want to be there much longer at this point, I just sent it back, with a no, I'll do without. I ate the remainder of A's burger, and  the last two bites of J's ruben (which was pretty sub-standard - white bread? toasted not grilled? sheesh). They didn't charge for my meal, which ended up just being a small salad, and they took another $4 off the total. The waitress apologized a lot. In all the times we've been to The Tap, this is the first time there has ever been a mistake that I remember, so it's not like we won't ever go back.... but...  disappointing.
