silly critters

I was out in the barn just now, feeding the mostly blind and partially deaf old horse, and Tap cat came over to say hi. As I head back to the house, Tap precedes me, just not on the path. He goes up and across the hood of the truck, back to the ground, then up onto the chicken tractor (mobile chicken coop) which is currently empty, across that, back on the ground then across the driveway by way of over the top of the Prius. No, Tap is not overweight, Yes, he does weigh 14 lbs. Once in the mudroom, Tap cat and Pedro dog (all 115lbs of him) both have their noses to the inner door, Tap being directly under Pedro's chin. Pedro tries to ask Tap to step back by putting a paw on the cat's back. So Tap turns around and puts his paw on Pedro's shoulder. At that point they both have to back up in order for me to actually open the door.
