UNH Horse Trials, Day 1

Today was dressage, Cross Country and Stadium Jumping are tomorrow. I rode better than the last test, and it showed in the marks. We did have one bobble though, where he wasn't through enough to hold the counter-canter and swapped leads. I saved it well enough by coming back to walk and re-establishing counter canter again before the next movement that it was the only one was affected in the scoring. I'm pretty pleased to be sitting in second going into the jumping, however, the jump courses are big, and I'm a little more nervous than usual.  Here is a photo that Alice took during our Dressage:
