Dec. 10th, 2010 04:03 pmNOT. we have had no dial tone on our landline since this morning. We had dead silence before, and now we have non-dial tone far away slight buzzing. We don't have the modem that Fair Point said would be here two days ago either. Talking with the customer service person on the phone this morning told me that said modem was shipped yesterday, and that the techs were working on the order for internet right then and we'll call you back when it's ready. um. right. Good thing I have a cell phone.
EDIT: after talking with the very friendly repair line customer service person, it seems that they are still working on the problem. They know, they're working on it. It's something in the office, not on the lines. They do expect to call me on my cell when it's fixed. Huh. Yea, it's broken, but they are being very nice about it.
