Last weekend Alice competed the wonderful Trump horse at the University of New Hampshire fall Horse Trials at the Novice level.

She presented an average dressage test, leaving her in 11th place out of 25 after the first phase. This event ran Stadium Jumping before Cross Country, which was good, since it was raining on Sunday, but not on Saturday. She had two rails down in Stadium, but overall I was very pleased with the smooth forward round. She was placed 15 out of now only 20 competitors. It was spitting rain when she rode her Cross Country test on Sunday, but she got around with only two refusals, mostly due to dropping her crop at the third fence. So I'd say a job well done, given that Trump generally does not like this part.
