I brought a friend with me and picked some cherries today. There weren't many on the tree, and there's less now. There's lots up higher than I could easily reach, even with the house folding ladder. So if you want cherries, be prepared to climb the tree. It would help if you had a friend on the ladder, and you climbed the tree and bent down a branch, so the friend on the ladder would be able to pick all the ones they could then reach. I did that trick (me on ladder, friend on ground) and my friend on the ground got the low lying fruits.
Very Tart cherries! Be ready to pucker up when you eat them! All we got was about enough to fill 2 or 3 sandwich baggies, like I said, the tree isn't overfilled. Made some cherry cheesecake-cupcake sized. Might have enough left for a pie, but that's about it.
