Head count

At home:

• 3 cats, all in the house! I convinced Tiger to come in yesterday, and it turns out that she really likes people.
  
• 1 hot dog
• 5 NH Red hens patrolling the yard for ticks
• 10 white broiler chickens (some are jumbo x, some are another breed and not so big/stupid) now out of the barn and in the newly repaired Chicken Tractor
• 7 baby turkeys, quickly outgrowing the brooder
• 2 horses, hanging out in the barn, hiding from bugs
• 1 Dexter yearling heifer, also hiding from bugs, in the shade of her new shed.
• 5 little pigs, 6.5 weeks old.

In cowland: 1 Bull, 3 cows, 3 yearling steer, 1 2007 steer, and a mysterious white rooster.
Cow notes: Yes, I did sell the 2007 heifer, she got named Spirit by her new owner. Casey cow is starting to 'bag up', so I expect a calf from her in a few weeks to a month. Recently, I've been removing a couple of dead rats a week from their water tank...  the one yesterday was noticeably smaller than the previous ones.

That's out of 15 chicks delivered. This is why I hate this breed. But it's what James asked for. Next time I guess I had just better order twice as many as I want in the end. This >50% failure rate was NOT MY FAULT. But I'm still pretty pissed about it.
