today must have been too hot for the 6 big fat cornish cross chickens that I was going to butcher tomorrow. They are already dead. Sometime this afternoon. Yes, I am pissed. Clearly I should have stayed home today.

Are these the ones that were in the white chicken tractor? They were hot yesterday, but not knowing chickens, I couldn't really assess the situation, plus several were up and about, eating and drinking.

I lost a rat to the heat, also :(

Yes, 6 of the 9. The biggest ones. The other three are a different breed.

Oh, geez. That just really sucks. Badly. Staying home might have helped, but hindsight is always 20/20. You just never know. ::hugs::
