I opened my most recent Discover card bill to find a string of $10 charges through paypal/ebay... hrmm... I didn't do that. The nice people at Discover said that I don't have to pay it, they have canceled my card and I should get a new one in 7-10 days. Also they will send me paperwork to sign so they can pursue the fraud. Bad that this happened, Good that Discover is being reasonable. So, um, yea, check your statements.

Date: 2007-09-19 06:52 pm (UTC)2) you may want to run a good anti-spyware / anti-virus software on any computer you have used to buy anything with your discover card (on the theory that they had to steal the card data from somewhere, and if it happened via your computer once, it could happen again).
good luck!
