emp42ress in her quest for insects and had an enjoyable evening with her and an early start to Saturday. After delivering her and one nest of wasps to her lab, we discovered...
Orange Line lossage. So in an effort to get at least one of us to chinatown by the 11am meet time,chocorua drove and dropped me off there before parking the car. By 11:30, we were finally joined up with Amelia, Erica, koshmom, and ottaur and his kids. I'm sorry that we missed rikibeth and eternaleponine, but they got stuck in the same Orange Line mess. In any event, I haven't had that much fun at dim sum in a long time and this will have to be repeated.
After a brief stop downtown for some music buying, it was off to the EOS party. Oh what fun. I'm very sorry that I missedquietann's corset, but I'm sure I'll have another chance. The list of people I'm happy to have seen, sctriched, hugged and chatted with is just too long to list, and there are some of you I would like to interact with on a much more frequent basis, but such is life. Much thanks to sunspiral and roozle for hosting such a great event!
We hostedottaur and his younger kid overnight, but thankfully no one got up too early. Except me - to feed critters. Sunday became like many with a few short farm projects and a trip to Wenham MA to pick up my Alice from her weekend stay at her friend's house. So now it's bedtime.
