Lameness update
Oct. 22nd, 2006 09:10 pmTrump, my wonderful horse, is sound again. Yay. We had a great ride today. While my knee and foot have recovered from their minor injury, my hand has not. Early on in the process of moving firewood, I realised that I could not continue without some support. So I taped my fingers together, and wrapped my fingers, hand and wrist in vetrap (like a very sticky single-use ace bandage) and heaved wood with a purple mitten. Tomorrow I'll go buy a finger-splint to support the knuckle joint of my middle finger. It would be my right hand - the one I use to pick everything up. And since it doesn't hurt unless I'm using it, I forget, and keep making it hurt again. Ow.
