notes at the end of a hot summer day
Jul. 26th, 2007 08:00 pmAgain, the house is lonely, as I go around opening up the windows in that strange time between sunset and dark when the world gets kind of quiet.
I can tell that the summer is waning, even though the heat is sultry, the sun didn't grace my pillow until 6 this morning and I watched him come up, as opposed to the other way around. And here it is 8 hours past noon, and he has already set here. Light lingers for a while longer, and then it will be cool enough to sleep.
