stupid horse tricks

When I went out to feed Trump this morning, he didn't come up the paddock. He turned his head to look at me, so I thought it odd that he didn't come. I walked down to where he was standing and had to get really close before I saw that he had gotten the front blanket closure hooked on the fence. Silly boy must have been eating the grass on the other side. He continued to stand quietly while I unhooked him, and then headed for his breakfast using his big trot. I like having calm horses.

getting ready for snow

Gravely has snowblower and tire chains put on. Fuel in that and the tractor. Tractor is parked inside, next to the outlet for it's block heater. All of the loose/extraneous stuff that was outside is put away. The bird feeder is up and full. Truck in the barn and the car will go in next to it when I get home tonight. Today was not a day off.
