When I went out to feed Trump this morning, he didn't come up the paddock. He turned his head to look at me, so I thought it odd that he didn't come. I walked down to where he was standing and had to get really close before I saw that he had gotten the front blanket closure hooked on the fence. Silly boy must have been eating the grass on the other side. He continued to stand quietly while I unhooked him, and then headed for his breakfast using his big trot. I like having calm horses.

eep! But what a sensible boy.

Feronia had a couple of um interesting damage to the hardware of her Rambo blankets while at Mary's, which makes me suspect she would not be so calm if she got stuck.

Most of the horses I've known would have set back and destroyed the blanket (and probably injured themselves in the process.)
