Cats CAN be trained
Sep. 5th, 2010 10:34 amI have 3 cats at home. Pearl, the 15 year old, has special extra tasty, extra nutritious food and gets fed in a small cage so that she isn't disturbed when eating. She's not really interested in food, so we feed her when she asks. I usually shut, but don't latch, the cage door so that she can leave when she's done. This morning, it looks like she ate about 2 bites before leaving. Both other cats have been in and back out again since then, and Pearl's food, with the cage door wide open, is still there. They younger cats have gone to their food in the kitchen to eat. Hooray for smart cats!
