and at a higher level too... granted, it was only a 2-phase (Dressage and Stadium Jumping) but I wasn't really expecting a win. Finished on my dressage score of 30.0 penalty points. For you DQ's out there, it's equivalent to 70%. The jump course was very tight and technical, with about 1/2 the jumps at max for Training - 3'3". 

So, yea, I'm happy.

Finishing on my dressage score does seem to indicate that I had no penalties in the jumping, so, no I didn't 'miss' any jumps. There are penalties for knockdowns and refusals, and elimination for going off-course or falling.

thank you. It was a surprise to me, given that I was competing against my jump instructor, who was riding a horse that did Training most of last season. Skips dressage has really 'clicked' over the past month. (he'll jump anything, so long as I don't send him mixed signals)
