Surgery scheduled for Friday. 6-8 weeks of knee immobilizer, then p/t.

How is he at actually doing the p/t?

By inclination, I don't tend to do it, but after my wrist surgery, I did it religiously and now have (despite the surgeon's expectations) the full use of my left hand.

Is this "can't leave the house" knee immobilizer, or just a cast and crutches? I can't imagine James not being mobile. I think he'd go bonkers if he was stuck in one place for too long.

this is not allowed to bend his knee at all. He is allowed to go wherever he wants to under that one condition.

Best of luck to him. I expect if you do reiki for him, it could at least halve the healing time.

Ugh - but it could have been worse. He is in my thoughts for an uneventful surgery and quick recovery.
